On 4 May, Colonel Lammerschmidt and Colonel Jongejeugd, participated in the Dutch National Military Commemoration ceremony on the Grebbeberg, in the Netherlands. Despite the rain,there was again a lot of interest in the commemoration of the dead on the Grebbeberg. Visitors came to commemoration in large numbers. During the cermony the Colonels layed a wreath together, in remembrance for those who have fallen.
