On Thursday 17 March Lieutenant General Marlow handed over the command of 1GNC to Lieutenant General Nico Tak, during the change of command ceremony. ‘’I would like to thank you all for your commitment and cooperation. I feel privileged and honored that I was a part of this great team for a limited period of time’’, General Marlow said in his speech.
After his position as the Director of Operational Readiness at the Ministry of Defense in The Hague, Lieutenant General Nico Tak will take command of 1GNC. ‘’Men and women of 1GNC, I’m looking forward to working with you all. With all 12 nations together, we make a great team and are ready for any operation, at any time!’’, said General Tak in his speech.
